Hair is a woman’s crowning glory. Fuck all of that “I am not my hair” shit, it doesn’t matter if your hair is short or long, silky or kinky, your hair is what makes you, you. You can tell a lot about somenone’s personality from looking at their hair, you can tell a lot about someone’s diet from looking at their hair, and you can also tell a lot about someone’s priorities from looking at their hair. Your hair, as well as your skin and nails, should be one of your top priorities.INVEST IN YOURSELF.I always say, you should look your very best when you’re butt ass naked. So, in this blog, I’m going to give you ladies a few pointers on how to care for your hair. You can apply these tips to almost any hair texture, but since I have thick, curly-wavy hair, this blog will for the most part be most helpful to those of you girls (and guys) with hair like mine.
Beauty starts from the inside out. You can put as much product as you want on your hair, but if you’re not eating hair healthy food, you’re wasting your time and money. In fact, this blog will actually save you money, because after applying these tips, you won’t need for much product and the products that you will need are cheap and (if you live a healthy lifestyle) can be found right in your kitchen. Like I said, beauty starts from the inside out, so let’s begin with your insides:
Hair Healthy Foods:
Your hair needs vitamins A and C to produce sebum.Sebum is an oily substance produced by your hair follicles, that keeps your hair shiny and acts like a natural hair conditioner. You can get your vitamins A and C from loading up on carrots and dark green, leafy vegetables. Dark green vegetables are also rich in iron and calcium which are essential for healthy hair. Beans and nuts are rich in zinc, iron and biotin which you need to promote scalp health and to prevent shedding. Eggs are high in essential b-vitamins that your hair needs to grow. Whole grains and oysters are also rich in zinc. Salmon contains omega-3’s and the “good fats” that promote a healthy scalp and shiny mane. If you’re a vegetarian, you can get your omega-3’s from flax-seeds. Poultry is high in protein. Not only does protein keep your hair strong and healthy, but it also keeps your natural hair color vibrant.
Product:
I mentioned that most of the products you will ever need can be found right in your kitchen. I use coconut oil, castor oil and argan oil on my hair and scalp every other day. Coconut oil keeps your hair moisturized and shiny. Castor oil promotes hair growth and is a fantastic moisturizer. I use Jamaican black castor oil. The great thing about coconut oil and castor oil is that they can be used on your skin and nails as well. I usually take an empty bottle with a pointed tip that can be used to apply these oils (I like to put a mixture of coconut oil, castor oil and argan oil) directly to my scalp. Every now and then whenever I “pre-poo” or “co-wash” my hair, I use a homemade conditioner on my hair which usually consists of honey, raw shea butter, coconut oil and castor oil. You can put this mask on your hair before you wash it or as a deep conditioner and trust me, once you’re done washing and you’re ready to style, this mask will leave your hair so moist and shiny that there will be little to no need for product.
A happy ending:
Everyone loves a happy ending, whether it be at the end of a story or… at the end of a massage. -blink, blink- My favorite happy ending has to do with my hair. One thing people don’t know is that your hair has the ability to grow as long as you want it to. Most people think that their hair isn’t growing, which isn’t true. Your hair grows, but if your ends are split, your hair will just continue to break off and you will almost never notice any growth. Contrary to popular belief, scissors ARE your friend. For growth, I recommend trimming your split ends every ten to twelve weeks. Also, to prevent your ends from splitting in the first place, it is so important that you either sleep on satin pillowcases or tie your hair up with a satin bonnet at night. The friction between your hair and rough fabrics can cause breakage and split ends. It is also important to keep your ends moisturized to prevent splitting and breakage. My favorite thing to use on my ends is raw honey or castor oil.
In addition to this, I also take Hairfinity vitamins which you can read about in a previous post. Send me your before and after pictures, I’d love to see them. Happy growing! :)

I had been reading about Hairfinity vitamins for a while now, and after not being able to find one bad review, I decided to give them a shot. so, I’ve been taking these vitamins for three weeks now, and OH. MY. G-D, I have already experienced close to an inch of growth! Hairfinity vitamins are for those of us that desire longer, thicker hair. Yes, there are a bunch of pills and potions that promise that, but Hairfinity are the only vitamins that have given me the results that I was really looking for. Also, not only am I experience rapid hair growth, but my hair texture and curl pattern have also changed. Before I started taking Hairfinity, my hair was thick and curly. It is still thick, but it is more wavy now. I used to texturize my hair to achieve that wavy look, and now I have it, naturally. After doing a bunch of research, I learned that the ingredient in Hairfinity that changes your hair texture is the msm powder.

Hairfinity guarantees about half an inch to an inch of growth every month. Like I said, it hasn’t even been a month yet and I have already experienced close to an inch of growth. I think that this rapid hair growth has been caused by the use of Hairfinity along with my diet and the use of Jamaican black castor oil. I suggest that if you use this product, you also load up on foods that are good for your hair, such as salmon, spinach, beans, nuts, poultry, whole grains, oysters, carrots and eggs. And get you some castor oil, which works wonders when it comes to hair growth. Also, being that it has loosened my curl pattern, it’s easier for me to tell when my hair is growing now, because before, I experienced lots of shrinkage with my curly hair. The only thing that I dislike about the Hairfinity vitamins is that they. are. HUGE! If you’re not good with swallowing pills, I recommend that you open the capsules and dump the contents into a smoothie, juice or water. Other than that, I love, love, LOVE this product and I will continue to use it. If you use this product, I would love it if you girls (and guys) would “photo reply” with before and after pictures.:)

I recently purchased a couple of products from Ixora Botanical Beauty, a company which is based out of St. Croix, after hearing people rave about the products all over the internet, especially Twitter (You can follow them on Twitter - @IxoraBB and the CEO - @CruzanChoklate). I purchased the”Whip It Up Shimmering Shea Butter”, the”Jumbo Combo Butter”and the”Kissed by The Sun Moisturizing Body Scrub”.Before anything, let me just say that I am absolutely in love with the fact that not only are the products and customer service amazing, but the company is playing it’s part in being environmentally and socially responsible by sterilizing and recycling empty jars that customers send back to them. Also, I believe if you send back four or five jars, you get a four ounce jar of the product of your choice forFREE! Who doesn’t love free?
Whip It Up Shimmering Shea Butter:

“This butter is all about the Shea Nilotica Butter. It is softer and creamier than West African Shea Butter, and it absorbs into the skin and hair than its West African counterpart.
The added oils help aid dry skin, relieves eczema and skin rejuvenation.
The shimmer adds a touch of glamour to your overall look.
Remember, a little goes a long way.
Ingredients: Shea Nilotica Certified Organic and Fair Trade, Avocado Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Gold Rush Mica Powder, Fragrance Oil (s) - Optional.”
I ordered this product in a cherry blossom scent, which I love. This butter is amazing for whenever you go out and wear an outfit that calls for a bit of shimmer, usually whenever your legs and shoulders are going to be exposed. It really makes your skin glow.
Jumbo Combo Butter:

“This product not only is good for dry skin, but it works for oily skin too. It moisturizes and easily absorbs into the skin and helps to fade stretchmarks and scars. On top of it being great for your skin, it keeps your hair moisturized for days. It is an all star butter that is also kid friendly!
Remember, a little goes a long way.
Ingredients: Shea Nilotica Certified Organic and Fair Trade, Mango Butter, Jojoba Oil, Tamanu Oil, Extra Virgin Unrefined Pure Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Fragrance (s) - Optional
4 oz, 8 oz”
I ordered this product in a coconut scent that I am aboslutely in love with. I usually use my raw shea butter as a before-bed cream, but now I swear by this. Not only is it not as greasy as raw shea butter, but it’s also not as thick, so your skin is left feeling moisturized, but not oily. Shea butter being so thick prevented me from using it as a day butter, because it was uncomfortable to wear under clothing, but the Jumbo Combo Butter is perfect for daytime use. I also find it to be superioer to shea and cocoa butter, when it comes to fading scars and stretch marks. ALSO, omg, my favorite part… I use this stuff in my hair and it leaves my hair (especially my ends) feeling moisturized, but not greasy and stiff. The coconut scent is amazing. Just the other night, I was laying in bed with my girlfriend and she told me that I smelled like a cookie and proceeded to eat me, just. like. a. cookie.
Kissed By The Sun Moisturizing Sugar Scrub:

“This moisturizing scrub contains demerara and white sugar and to add additional moisture, Nilotica Shea butter. The vegetable glycerin adds additional moisture and the sweet almond and olive oil locks it all in!
Ingredients: Demerara Sugar, White Cane Sugar, Shea Nilotica Certified Organic and Fair Trade, Vegetable Glycerin, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Fragrance (s) - Optional
4 oz, 8 oz”
Out of all of the products I purchased from Ixora, this one has to be my favorite. If you know me, you know that I live for a good exfoliating body scrub. I ordered this in a peppermint scent. If you’re someone like me who is not a morning person, this scrub in the peppermint scent really wakes you up. My favorite thing about this scrub is that is really moisturizes you. I love moisturizing scrubs, because it elimates having to apply a body butter or lotion when you come out of the shower. All you have to do is pat-dry, get dressed and go!
I am now a faithful customer and will continue to purchase my body butters and sugar scrubs from Ixora. I cannot wait to use the other butters and sugar scrubs, even though part of me never wants the bath I already have to end, lol. Speaking of neverending, when Ixora says that “a little goes a long way”, it really does. These arent products that you need to drown your hair and skin in for them to work, which ends up saving you a lot of money. I purchased the 4oz containers back in February, and honestly, I dont see myself needing to buy again until April because even in the 4oz jars, you get so much product!

I first started getting Brazilian waxes about two years ago. My first experience was absolutely horrible. The place I went to was in Harlem… why I thought it would be a good idea to have the hair ripped out of my vagina on 125th street? I don’t even know. From start to finish, it was just all bad. I even bled. My vagina bled in places vaginas don’t bleed from. It was horrible. After that, I swore off waxing my lady parts for, and vowed to never do that to myself again. And then a year later, I discovered Shobha.

I can’t remeber where I first heard the name, but I remember reading reviews online and after not being able to find one bad review, I decided to give it a shot. I called, made an appointment at Shobha Soho since I live in DUMBO, Brooklyn and that was the closest location to me and they referred me to Tahira. Y’all, as I was making my way to my appointment, I began to have flashbacks of my first experience at thatotherplace and almost punked out. I got to Shobha Soho and my first thought was “This place is BEAUTIFUL!” The waiting room is so warm, cozy and inviting, it almost makes you forget that you’re about to have the hair ripped out of your vagina. Before my ass could even hit the seat, Tahira was ready for me. No wait? This had to be too good to be true. I followed Tahira into the room she would be doing my Brazilian wax in, and couldn’t believe how clean it was. I had read online about how seriously they take cleanliness, but the room was spotless. I undressed from the bottom down, Tahira lightly dusted my lady parts with a powder to absorb any oils that were on my skin from lotion or soap. She thin brought out a pair of clippers and trimmed my hair all the way down, something that had not been done at theotherplace I had went to. She then put on these pink gloves, which I thought was adorable and proceeded to apply the wax to my skin. She also made sure the temperature was fine for me, which I loved. She put the strip over the wax and pulled the hair out… I felt a tug, but I didn’t feel too much pain so I sat up to see if she had actually pulled the hair out. One side of my bikini line was clean and hairless. I said to Tahira “Holy, shit! This doesnt hurt!”, and she laughed. She waxed me from the top of my vagina to the crack of my ass and I didn’t even flinch. She also offered me great conversation. You would think that when your lady parts are exposed and someone is coming at your vagina with hot wax, conversation would just be awkward, but it wasn’t. She even cracked a few jokes. By the time we finished talking, I was done and she applied a cloth soaked in rosewater to calm my skin, then applied an aftercare cream. I was in and out in ten minutes. I enjoyed my experience so much that I kept going back and now, I refuse to go anywhere else.
What I Love About Shobha:

Shobha provides threading services as well. I like threading over waxing when it comes to my eyebrows, because it is so precise. Tahira does my eyebrows as well. I love Tahira. If Tahira isn’t available, I see Datta. If you choose to go to Shobha, which I highly recommend that you do, I’d love for you girls (and guys, they have services for men, too) to comment on this blog and tell me about your experience. I know yours will be enjoyable as mine. And don’t forget to tell them that Patricia Falona sent you! :)

Ladies, Summer is right around the corner. I don’t want to see y’all out here with love handles hanging over the sides of your jeans, and those of you with square torsos, I’m about to get y’all together because it’s a mess out here.

“Classic Siluet waist cincher. Cotton inner layer that protects the skin. Molds your waist, lifts the bust line, and flattens the abdomen. Ergonomic rods that correct your posture. Ideal for post-partum. Three rows of hooks for better adjustment.”
I began cinching my waist a year ago. I wasn’t as into working out last year as I am now, but I wanted that hourglass figure. Now, being that I wasn’t about that gym life, I had two options; I could either see a plastic surgeon about some liposuction, or I could start training my waist. At that time, I was still dancing and had seen what liposuction had done to women (lumps and bumps galore), so I decided to skip the abrasive procedure and see what waist training was about. So, I began my research. Now, in my mind, when i thought “waist training”, I got images of women in lace-up, steel-boned corsets that someone had to help them get into. I thought, there has to be another alternative, and sure enough, there was. One day, I stumbled upon a line of rubber waist cinchers from a brand calledSiluet.Siluet promised that their product would not only give me that hourglass shape that I desired, but not just shape me, melt my belly fat, too. I ordered the product, even though I was still a bit skeptical. When I received my product, it took me about five minutes to get into it. I remember holding my breath and hooking the hooks as fast as I could. Once all the hooks were secure, I turned around to see myself in a full-length mirror and almost fainted - mainly because I couldn’t breathe, but I also couldn’t believe that the shape I was staring at belonged to me. Siluet only recommends that you wear your waist cincher for a couple of hours, but fuck that, I was determined. I did everything in my cincher. I went to class in my cincher, I went to work in my cincher, I went to the gym in my cincher and I even slept in my cincher. I wore it for twenty-two hours everyday and only took it off to shower and wash it. Pretty soon, that shape that I could only achieve with my cincher, stayed that way even when I wasn’t wearing it. When I first started training my waist, I started in a size eight cincher with a 30 inch waist, a year later, I am in a size four which is about a 23.5-25.5 waist. It took me about six months to get to this size. I can’t get enough of my Siluet cincher. I don’t wear it for twenty-two hours like I did when I first started training my waist, I just wear it to sleep or to the gym once or twice a week for maintenance. It is not recommended that you wear your cincher to work out, nor am I telling you to… but I did. I would do a bunch of cardio in my cincher which is rubber on the outside and cotton on the outside, the heat I would generate from working out would cause me to sweat losing water weight immediately, and also burning fat. Again, I do not recommend that you do this, but understand all of the dangers if you do decide to. By working out in your cincher, you run a higher risk of fainting, dizzy spells and shortness of breath. If you do decide to work out in your cincher, take. it. easy. And stay hydrated. Until you get used to practically living in your cincher, I wouldn’t suggest do as much cardio as you would normally do. Also, keep your cincher clean. I cannot stress this enough. Not cleaning your cincher that you’ve been sweating in is a rash waiting to happen. I also do not suggest wearing creams, oils, body butters or lotions on your midsection when you’re wearing your cincher. It can damage the material, and it’s just uncomfortable. Other than that, you’re going to love this product. It will mold your waist, help you burn fat and lose water weight and also cause you to eat less because you will feel fuller faster, when you’re wearing your cincher.

Maca root, also known as “The Viagra of Peru”, is a vegetable and a true adaptogen.
The Benefits of Maca Root:
Yes, it enhances your lady lumps. How? Well, maca root is an adaptogen, it balances out your hormones. It helps your body to produce whatever it is that you are lacking. so, if you’re a woman who naturally produces more testosterone than estrogen, it will balance out your estrogen levels, and estrogen is the hormone that is responsible for giving you that gorgeous, hourglass figure because as a woman, you are naturally supposed to store more fat in your breasts, hips, thighs and butt. What I love most about maca root is that it not only encourages the production of estrogen, but it naturally redistributes fat. Imagine going to get a Brazilian butt lift procedure done and having all of the fat taken out of the areas where you don’t want it, and transferred to all the places that you do. Even though it’s a gradual process and won’t happen overnight, it does just that. However, it does not take forever. Most women see results in as little as two weeks; and by results, I mean a shrinking waistline, wider hips, a bigger butt and fuller breasts.
The brand of maca root I use is called Peruvian Gold Maca by Paradise Herbs. It is a 12:1 concentration, which is about as potent as it gets. You can purchase it here: http://paradiseherbs.com/products/maca/

“Castor oil has been used medicinally for over 4,000 years for all kinds of ailments. The Castor bean is native to Eastern Africa and made its way to Jamaica via the slave trade. Today the Castor Oil is manufactured the old fashioned way in Jamaica. Authentic Jamaican Black Castor Oil is dark brown in color accompanied with the traditional burnt smell.
Over the years, Jamaicans have been using castor oil as their home grown remedy for medicinal purposes, as well as skin care, hair care and everyday aches and pains. It is now being used by many African Americans to moisturize, thicken, strengthen and increase their hair growth. Today, Jamaican Black castor Oil has crossed over into other ethnic groups, and is now being used widely for some of the same purposes as well as new found uses, including eyelash and eyebrow hair growth and as a massage oil. This is a versatile oil that carries many varied uses.
Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is processed the “old fashioned “Jamaican way. Our Organic seeds are roasted and grounded by a manual grinder, after which the beans are boiled to extract the 100% pure, dark brown organic oil. Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is the best quality oil on the market. Why you may ask? Over the last ten years it is an established precedent that Jamaican Black Castor Oil is more effective than the clear Pharmacy Castor Oil because of the Ash Content in Jamaican Black Castor Oil due to roasting of the beans. Therefore it stands to reason that the more Ash Content the more effective the Oil. This is not a myth, it is evidence based FACTS. Compared to other brands, it is the darkest Jamaican Black Castor Oil because we roast our beans longer, which produces more Ash Content in Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil than any other oil on the market. More Ash content increases the effectiveness and the color of the oil. Therefore, the Sunny Isle brand will strengthen and increases hair growth faster than any other brands on the market today. Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor is imported from Jamaica, inspected by the FDA and approved for distribution and it is the ONLY Jamaican Black Castor Oil that comes in a safety sealed bottle for your safety protection.”

When you’re super busy, it’s hard to actually sit down and eat the suggested five-six meals a day. It’s even harder to get the daily recommended servings of fruits and veggies. The solution to that? Drink your food. I can count on one hand how many times a week I actually have solids. Between school, rehearsals, training sessions at the gym and volunteer work, it’s almost impossible for me to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, so I drink my food. My diet consists of mostly fruits and vegetables. I’ll have solids every now and then, but a liquid diet is just much more convenient for me. Below, I have provided you with a list of what goes into my smoothies.

American women have been taught that a little extra around the hips, butt and thighs is a bad thing, when actually, this is something that we should embrace. It’s a documented fact that women with hourglass and pear-shaped bodies have higher IQs than women with rectangle or apple shaped bodies, which can be a result of a diet high in omega-6’s. Studies also show that curvier women give birth to smarter babies. This is due to the omega-3 fatty acids that women naturally store in their hips. Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial to a fetus’ brain development, which is why women who have a diet high in these fatty acids tend to produce smarter children. Even as an adult, it is crucial that you get your omega-3’s, especially if you’re someone like me that has ADD/ADHD. I used to depend on Adderall to help me focus, but since I started incorporating more omega-3’s into my diet, I’m not running to a pill bottle every time I need to get some work done.
Now, the way you are shaped has a lot to do with genetics. However, that does not mean that you cannot alter your shape. If your Mother is rectangle or apple shaped and you are shaped like her, part of it could because of genetics… part of it could be because of what she fed you as a child. Think about it, most people live with their parents until the age of eighteen. You’re almost fully developed at eighteen, so if for eighteen years you pretty much ate the same foods and had the same lifestyle (diet, exercise, etc.) that your Mother did, you’ll have the same shape for the most part. The majority of the American population cannot afford to eat fresh, because eating fresh is not cheap. American women tend to eat a lot of processed and fast foods, because that it what is affordable. These processed foods are high in trans and saturated fats, which are usually stored in the belly and can give you that apple or rectangle shape.
It’s never too late to get on the right track and start living a healthy lifestyle. There are markets such as Trader Joe’s that are super inexpensive and sell mostly natural and organic foods. The cool thing about Trader Joe’s is that not only are they inexpensive, but they accept EBT, so does Whole Foods, Publix and The Food Emporium. A lot of farmer’s markets also accept EBT; you give them your card, they swipe it and in exchange they give you tokens that you can shop with. So, there really isn’t real reason why you should still be eating these processed foods, that are high in bad fats, which are bad for your health and bad for your shape.

One of my favorite snacks from Trader Joe’s is the Omega Trek Mix, which has 500mg of omega-3 fatty acids per serving (560 if you get the individual bags). The Omega Trek Mix is not your average trail mix - it contains omega infused cranberries, so you’re not only getting your omega-3’s from the nuts, but the berries as well. It’s only five dollars and it is absolutely delicious. I love the individual bags for when I’m on the go, because they keep me snacking healthy and are actually quite filling. So start incorporating these good fats into your diet, ladies. Your brain and your BOOTY will thank you!

It makes me so happy to see women going into business for themselves and I support them in anyway I can, which is why I chose to sample two products from Belle Amour Blends. Belle Amour Blends is owned and operated by @CallHerHoney, who is the sweetest girl ever. I have been following her on Twitter for like, forever and noticed that she had launched her own line of natural hair and skin care products, and decided to give it a shot. I was sent two samples products; The Rejuvenating Clay Cleanser and The Luscious Leave-In Conditioner. First of all, I was super impressed with the packaging. The products were sealed TIGHT and there was no leakage at all, which is great because no one wants to purchase a product only to have half of it leak out by the time it reaches them.

The Rejuvenating Clay Cleanser:
*Products are made-to-order. Oils vary upon request.
**Due to the naturalness of this product, be sure to store in a fridge to extend the shelf life.”
To use on hair: Dilute 1 tablespoon of clay with 2 tablespoons of water or aloe vera juice and mix well. Wet hair completely and section into 4 to 6 parts. Apply mixture using fingertips, making sure to massage into scalp and coat hair strands. Twist each section and apply conditioning cap for up to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and style.
*See more detailed instructions here
To use on skin: Dampen face (and body if desired) with water and rub desired amount onto skin, avoiding sensitive areas like the eyes and mouth. Allow the clay to dry (15 to 20 minutes) and rinse with warm water. Moisturize as needed.
Ingredients: Water, vegetable glycerin, Australian beige clay, French pink clay, Zeolite clay, Rhassoul clay, safflower oil, ylang ylang essential oil, burdock root extract,
horsetail extract, nettle root extract, various essential and fragrance oils*
I really like this product because even though I’ve never had much of a problem with acne and breakouts, blackheads have always been my biggest problem, especially on my nose for some reason. I put lots of oils in my hair and sometimes whenever I’m too lazy to tie my hair up at night, the oil from my hair transfers to my pillow and give me nasty blackheads. Anyway, I like to do clay masques at least twice a week. I used this product as I normally would any other clay masque, right after I came out of the shower, so that my pours would still be open. First, let me say that I love the eucalyptus mint scent. It’s so relaxing. After about twenty minutes, the clay cleanser had dried and it was ready to come off. After I was done rinsing, I noticed that a couple stubborn blackheads had surfaced - the clay cleanser was pulling these toxins out of my skin. Unfortunately, I have a horrible habit of picking at my skin and squeezing blackheads, but I fought the urge to squeeze the now visible blackheads, and let the clay cleanser do it’s job. I waited 24 hours before I used the clay cleanser again. When I used it for the second time, I noticed that after I was done rinsing, not only had most of the blackheads had fallen out on their own, but you couldn’t even tell where they had fallen out from because the clay cleanser had my pores shrink back in no time. I like this product, and I will definitely be purchasing this one. You can also use it on your hair, as well, which is really cool. I haven’t tried it in my hair yet, but once I do, I will update this review.

Luscious Leave-In Conditioner:
“Details: This rich and creamy conditioner is the perfect elixir to add moisture and softness to your hair. Blended with coconut oil and honey powder, this mixture gives your hair a silky texture, perfect for those who enjoy the carefree wash-n-go style.
To use: Coat strands with desired amount of product, making sure not to heavily saturate the roots. Do not rinse and style hair as usual.
Ingredients: Aloe vera juice, glycerin, avocado butter, shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, safflower oil, raw honey powder, vitamin E oil, various essential and fragrance oil*
*All products are made-to-order. Oils vary upon request.”
I LOVE this stuff and I haven’t stopped using it on my hair since I got it. My favorite thing about it is that it’s not heavy at all. It’s everything a leave-in conditioner should be; it moisturizes your hair without weighing it down. I got this product in the honey-vanilla, which smells amazing. I like to seal my hair after I wash it, and I feel like sealing with hair butters just weighs it down, but this product is perfect for sealing. What I do is, after I wash my hair, I let it air dry until it’s damp and then I apply the Luscious Leave-In Conditioner to seal in the moisture. Once my hair is dry, I dont even have to add any product because my hair is moist, shiny and my frizzies are tamed. I plan on purchasing this product in addition to the clay cleanser, because I’ve heard that the clay cleanser is great for defining curls.

Ladies, grab a pen and a notepad, ‘cause I’m about to put y’all the fuck on. For a long time, women have been told that there is nothing they can do to change the shape of their body, without plastic surgery. That’s false as fuck. While you won’t see results in a matter of hours like you would if you go under the knife, you CAN reshape your body, naturally. How? Herbs and a balanced diet. Women seem to think that if they load up on fatty foods, it will give them the body that they desire. Y’all have to learn the difference between healthy fats and unhealthy fats. Unhealthy fats aren’t going to do anything but go straight to your back, and then you’re going to be out here looking like you play for the NFL, with an attitude and shit. SO… this is what you need to do - change your diet completely and excersize. You have to incorporate foods that are high in estrogen, manganese, bromine and maca root into your diet. Manganese and bromine are important because they stimulate sex hormone production and increase sensitivity of your receptors to better absorb the estrogen. Too much estrogen is not good for you, though. Ladies, PLEASE do your research on the effects too much estrogen can have on the body. I am not a doctor, I’m just here to tell you what has worked for me and can work for you.
MACA ROOT: Maca root is an adaptogen. It balances your hormones. If you produce more testosterone than estrogen, it will balance that right out. Maca root is also known to distribute fat properly. It keeps fat from settling around your midsection and instead, sends it to where it’s supposed to go - your hips, butt, thighs and breasts.
